In March, we had the experience of spending a day on an aircraft carrier with our son JT. There were over 4000 guests who joined their family members on the Nimitz. We walked all 4 floors of the carrier, sat on the airstrip as a military jet broke the sound barrier above us and dropped bombs into the ocean for the airshow. Adrenelin flowed as the jet landed on deck just feet away from us. What a terrific way to connect with our son.

Snow Sadness
Well, although it's still white, we have watched countless people get stuck and slide around our neighborhood today, and Mr. Snowman is lying flat on his back with his little stick arms sticking up in the sky....melting...melting...melting! In the meantime, we are breaking out the popcorn and watching Horton Hears a Who. "People are people, no matter how small they are".
